Sorell Retail Fitout: Laminate Laid Around the Trade
A retail floor replaced in overnight stages while the shop traded every single day.

The Challenge & Vision
A store that could not close for a day, let alone a week, with heavy display units that could not be emptied. The old floor was failing at the entry and had to go, but every night's work had to end with the shop looking untouched and every unit back on its mark by opening.
The Solution
We worked the floor in eight overnight sections, moving display units onto wheeled skates and back onto marked positions before each morning. A textured oak AC5 laminate went down over the existing slab with a moisture barrier, chosen for a wear layer that copes with the grit tracked in from the car park. The shop never lost a trading hour.

Night 1: Set Out
Store mapped into eight sections and unit positions marked on the slab.
Nightly: Shift
Display units skated aside, old floor lifted, slab prepared in section.
Nightly: Lay
Laminate and moisture barrier installed, trims fitted before dawn.
Night 8: Reset
Final section closed out, entry matwell fitted, full clean before opening.
